New years day! January 1, 2013

New Years day we went to a park called Enchanted forest, It is a lot like Greynolds park, so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We found these big round seed things, when we broke them open they sorta looked and smelled like an avocado super hard though. We put as many as we could in the back pack and through them in the water. We found a ton more by the play ground and we bowled with them, we would try and get them as close to the tree that we chose. They have horses and pony's and the boys love horses especially Peyton, he was going up to the horses and would give them a kiss and say hi horsey! We need to have horses some day not just because Tex loves them but Peyton adores them. It was a great day. We went grocery shopping later that night and finally have good food in the house. Tex and I have been 4 days into exercising  and eating healthy. :) This last semester is going to either go really fast or really slow. I am excited for a change in June.

I don't know what this new year holds for us except for our move to Utah for 5 or 6 months while Tex does his rotations starting in May. I am excited to spend Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas in Utah,  be close to family and friends. I know its going to be really hard not being with Tex but I think we have planned it pretty good. We will be with him May-July and then he is going to be at IHC in September and studying for boards in December so he will be with us then as well. So we will only be away from each other for 3 and half months of the 7. Tate will start Kindergarten in Utah and Hopefully we can get pregnant some time this year. I hope to accomplish a lot this year. I am Excited for a new year and to  see what adventures are in store for our family!

New years eve 2012

The Starley's were nice enough to have us over for New Years Eve and of course we had a great time. Great friends lots of really yummy food and  just hanging out. The guys kinda were in one area chatting and the girls on the other side chatting and the kids played in the back rooms. We had cleaned all morning and afternoon taking down Christmas and getting our apartment back in good shape so it was relaxing to be with friends. That night when we got home we made Peyton's crib into a big boy bed, he could get in and out just fine with out us moving it around, he would use a stool and climb in but I figured it was time. It is so funny that it kinda made me sad, I felt a weird kind of loss when we took it apart and made it a big boy bed. I love to see them grow but I miss them being baby's. I wish I could get pregnant to feel that baby void. :(  I am trying to be patient and remember the lord has a plan for me. I am super excited for a new year and want to be better this year then the last. Here is to 2013!!

Greynolds park and The Horse races

Our time together after Christmas has been so much fun! The day after Christmas we went to Greynolds park for the afternoon with all the things the boys got from Santa, The walkie talkie's, compass and Binoculars from Grandpa and Grandma. We spied for things, hid and scared each other, played at the play ground and found some of the most beautiful paths to explore.

This was one of the most relaxing days, I would love to have this as my backyard!
(Dec 28th 2012) we went to the gulf stream and watched the horse races, Peyton was jumped off some high ledge and face planted it, we walked around and looked in the shops and then went home and took after noon naps, another awesome day!

Latter we walked over to the mall and let the boys play in the play area and before we left we got some tuti fruti (frozen yogurt) My most favorite place to get ice cream. We have had so much every day. I think this happens every time there is a break and we have a ton of time with Tex, we dread him going back. We only have like 6 months before a change so we are going to do are best to hang in there. :)
