Catching up!

September 23 2016-   Soccer season begins, Tates team was the Raptors and Peyton's were the Golden Gecko's! Another really fun season. We will miss AYSO when we move to North Carolina.

Tex helped Dan Summers coach Tates team.

October 15th-  Tex helped me build this lemonade stand, We set up shop on the corner of the   Publix near our home. We had a lots of fun, the kids made about $30. We had lots of people stop and say how cool it was that we were doing the lemonade stand. We even had 3 cop cars stop and put their lights on they stayed on the corner while they ate their cookies and drank lemonade. We haven't been able to do it sense October because life has been so busy, we hope to do it a few more times this coming year.

October 24th- I loved these pictures because Paisley loves to do what her brothers are doing! I love these three so much!

October 29th- I'm really bummed I don't have more pictures of my parents. They came on October 28th and stayed with my kids while me and Tex went to North Carolina for his Exam and more interviews. We got to spend the 29th with them. It was a day loaded with activities. In the morning we had soccer games and It was cute to see Paisley snuggled up with my dad cause she was cold. I wish I could have gotten pictures of us in the rain because It literally poured on us for both of the boys games. We were soaked by the time we left. Later that day the boys had a little festival at the school that I have no pictures of and then that night we had the ward Halloween party.

We were cowboys and Indians this year. Peyton wasn't feeling 100% and was sleeping so we didn't get very many photos of him, or my parents I'm so mad at my self for not taking more with my parents.

Tex, Vickey Abraham, Me, Chelsea Ellis. I love these young women, I will miss them tremendously!

Tex carved an awesome pumpkin and we would have won I'm sure of it but we were late, as usual so no one saw it. It was fun to put on the front porch though. I am blessed that my husband has such an amazing talent!

We never do anything to our trunk either and Tex came up with this awesome idea.
Me, Sister Summers, Vicky Hernandez and I don't know his other lady's name.

Twin day and Hurricane Matthew!

Monday October 4th 2016- It was twin day at school and I found these shirts for 2.99. They looked so handsome, They both were cracking me that morning. I was trying to get them to smile and Peyton of course starts  smelling his arm pit and they both started laughing historically. It was three days before Hurricane Matthew was suppose to hit.

They cancelled school Thursday and Friday so that people could preapre for the storm, It was crazy when  I went to buy water there was literally nothing left. I found some in the baby section and took 6 of those. They energy at the stores was palpable, every one rushing around trying to find what they needed. We were ready to go for what ever came and then.......... nothing! We played out side in the rain for a while on Thursday morning and it rained pretty hard for 15 minutes and then it was over. We joked with the kids, telling them that was the hurricane and it was all done now. Little did we know that it was really the only rain we would get in regards to Matthew. Thursday night was the night that they said Homestead would get whatever part of the storm we were going to get. Nothing came. I was not windy or rainy, just quite and still. Unfortunately we were very blessed Matthew killed over 800 people in Hati and 18 in the U.S some in North Florida and some in North Carolina. Are prayers have been with those who have been affected by this storm.
I took this pic a Publix Thurday morning October 6th.

Playing in the rain, the boys loved having no school and it was fun to just chill as a family.

2016-2017 school pictures, we never by them cause they are so expensive but we get a little card in their backpacks and we use that to remember what they looked like in that grade.

Kansas/ job search!

Tex and I were fortunate enough to have been flown out to Kansas to take a closer look at the job opportunity they have their. It would be amazing because we would get to live in the same neighborhood as are close friends the Andersen's! Tex would work with Mike and he would make really good money with 6 weeks of vacation time, It's only a 13 hour drive from Utah and because it's a hospital system they have a loan forgiveness program. Lots of pluses! Tex also has some good opportunity in North Carolina that he is looking forward to exploring the first of November.
We had the best time looking around the little town and spending time with our friends. Brittany and Mike are two of the best people I have ever known. She will forever be some one I look up to and love.
The hospital put us up in a bran new hotel room, just recently built. The bed was so comfortable with so many fluffy pillows I thought I was laying on a cloud.

On the Friday the 16th- Me and Britt got breakfast at Burger King and later we all went four wheeling in what use to have been the Arkansas river.

We flew out of Garden City and it was the smallest air port ever! I got the biggest kick out of it :).

We got home at 1:00 am, It was a fun get away with Tex and so good to see my best friend! Our sister in law Beverly and Niece Sissy were both angels for coming to watch our three little ones for us. We were able to really take in Kansas and enjoy our self's knowing the kids were safe and being well taken care of. We even had a good portion of the next day to go to the beach and hang out with them before they went back to Texas.

Broken door and Tex's 34th birthday!

August 31st 2016- This man in the grey shirt came to gate in the back yard and gestured for Tate to open the door I followed him out and in his broken English he asked if I wanted him to trim and pull weeds all for only $25. It needed to be done badly and so I thought sounds good. I shut the back door and went back to wiping down the floors, he was about half way through his work when I heard a huge BANG! The door had been hit by something and looked like this. I'm pretty sure he didn't know it happened cause he was still working. I went out side and when he stopped he weed wacker I showed him the window, his eyes went wide and just kept saying I'm sorry baby!! I had Peyton run and get our neighbor Maria who speaks Spanish and he told her he was sorry, he knew it was his fault and that he wanted to pay for it. I wanted to have a glass company come and fix it, but it would have cost $475. Maria said he sounded like he was being sincere. He left and came back with his friend and they put some ply wood up and said he would be back with the door in a few days. tomorrow it will have been a week but he did stop by on Sunday showing us the reciept that he bought new glass for the frame. I'm hoping it will all be fixed in the next few days :).

Tex got home September 2nd and on Saturday the 3rd-  We went to Paradise Cove Water Park.It was Tex's birthday we played at the water park for a while and then went home to make some really yummy tacos and carrot cake. We invited the Summers over and in the end It was Dan and his kids that came for a little while.  The water park was hot and Sunny for about 30 min but then it started raining, we thought it would maybe clear up so we kept playing but it got worse and then started thundering. Thankfully sense we hadn't been their long they gave us rain check tickets to come back another time for free.

The lazy river!

The boys absolutely loved these slides. This is what they did the first 30 min.

Paisley had no fear of the slides and we did them each like 9 times.

It's kind of hard to see in this picture but it was raining hard. Paisley kept saying "Freeze".

September 4th
This was another fun Sunday walk. We found fed the fish some corn and played a around of pooh sticks.
September 5th- The kids didn't have school so we cleaned the house and ran errands. I'm sure it wasn't the boys most favorite day but these baby ducks and their momma who came to visit made up for all the boring stuff we made them do during the day :).
