Paisley's blessing ( Sunday Janruary 26th 2014)

Paisley was blessed last Sunday one day short of 8 weeks old. Tex gave a beautiful blessing and we had almost all of our family come over for lunch after church. It is always a little crazy but so fun as well. Some of my Aunts and Uncles from my dads side came and some of Tex's brothers and sisters with their kids came, along with my two brothers and there spouses. My best friend Miche Barbosa and her family came, my mom and dad helped a ton to make it a very special day. We had good food and everyone got a chance to hold sweet Paisley. She is a very fussy baby so it was amazing that she was so good  that whole day, my dad even got a really good smile from her. We left the next day for Florida so Tex could finish his last semester of school. He graduates April 26th 2014 and we are so excited!

Our family of four has grown by one and even though she is giving us a run for our money we seriously could not imagine life with out her.

During this wonderful day we had with Paisley I started to think... What do I know about her so far?
 1. She is way way fussier then the boys were! I am not sure if she has something bothering her because I am trying everything under the sun and she is still not so happy. I remember Tate and Peyton would sit in a swing and look around and be as happy as a clam, this little girl not a chance.
2. Right now her eyes are a beautiful dark blue that compliments her fair skin and small amounts of blonde hair.
3. 95% of the time her eyes seem really intense like she is trying really hard to like this crazy world.
4. She rarely wraps her hand around your finger. Tate use to hold on tight to my finger when he drank his bottle, she is fine not too.
5. She wiggles and moves as much as she did when I was pregnant with her. I remember so vividly always being able to feel her move around, at night some times I could not fall asleep cause she was doing a dance or jumping jacks, and she still wiggles all the time.
6. I some times call her my little lizard because she is always sticking her tongue out.
I hope beyond all hope that we are good friends, I know I have to be a mother to her but I want to be able to do that along with being good friends. It is amazing to me how your love can grow so much. I became so used to just the boys that I had a quick thought a few months before she was born, will I love her as much as I do the boys?  The answer is YES!!

This day was wonderful and it was a perfect goodby to all our family that we probably wont see for some time. After Graduation we start residency in July, so it may a year or more before we see some of our family members. I am so grateful for the Gospel and that family's can be together forever! I don't know what I would do with out each and every one of them!

Paisley please go to sleep!

This little girl is giving me a run for my money, not only has it thrown me for a loop going from 2 kids to 3 kids but she is miss fussy pants. Not like the boys at all! The boys were cake compared to this little one. I am really going to be taught patience with this one cause a few nights I can handle but every night is starting to get old fast. I love her so so much and thinks she is the cutest thing ever, she smells so good. I really missed that new baby smell and I love all her little sounds and when she is sleeping and she smiles, her long beautiful fingers, she has the cutest little nose, I love everything about her. I just hope I can be patient with her cause heaven knows patience has never been one of my qualities. :)

A New Year

New Years Eve this year was very memorable. Tex was studying for boards so he didn't show up tell around 11:30 but in the mean time we ate really yummy food, played games (headbanz and apples to apples), and watched the movie wolverine. Faye-Dawn was on shift so she couldn't make it but Blake came and Brenton was able to come a little later. New Years day my sisters played with the boys outside and they built the smallest cutest snow man ever! The boys were so proud of him. They said it was a snow man like the one from the movie Frozen. I went to a movie with my mom and sisters called The book thief, it was really sad but I had fun being with my family while Tex studied for boards. Also my cousin Taylor Smith's wife took these pictures of Paisley for me the 23rd of December and she e mailed them to me today. I love them! This year we have a lot to look forward to. Our road trip back to Florida, Match is March 19th, Graduation is April 26th, Residency starts in June and then who knows what all that will be like? I am excited and a little scared for what the future holds for our little family.

Christmas 2013

Christmas Eve this year was very fun because we are living with my family so they got to be apart of the fun we have with our little boys. Plus being away for the last few year in Miami made me miss home at the holidays. Its so funny how humans are though, because now I miss the beach on Christmas Eve and decorating our house for Christmas. I will miss home but will be excited to have a place of my own again. Any way this year the boys worked hard to earn quarters and dollar bills to put in their jars to buy each other a gifts, me and Tex took the boys out shopping a few days before Christmas and on Christmas Eve they opened each others gifts. Tate gave Peyton an Iron Man action figure and Peyton gave Tate a power ranger action figure. They opened the Christmas p.js that my mom helped me make for the boys and after my siblings opened from each other we watched the Christmas movie we gave the boys.

Brenton had me and my family this year for Christmas and he gave the boys a huge box of Legos, Paisley a super cute pink outfit and Tex and I a gift card. The boys (all three of them) played with them while others opened presents.

Later that night after the kids were in bed and we had written our letter to Santa all the adults watched Scrooge. That movie has the best message, I'll be honest it still gives me the creeps a little but I do love to watch it with my family.
Santa came to the boys and brought fun things to stay active inside the house like a little tramp and punching bag but also brought the things that they had been asking for. Tate has been asking for all this Power Ranger stuff for more than 7 months and Peyton found these little Iron man action figures that he wanted Santa to bring so BAD. It took all of 7 min to open Santa's presents but it is so fun to be a parent and live in the Christmas spirit with your children.

I got Tex a tent and some fun stuff for camping. I wish I could have done more but it's a start and we can work on building his emergency back pack over the years.

This was obviously Paisley's first Christmas and she did not fit into the little Christmas onsie that I put her in, she is growing and getting bigger but she is still not fitting in new born stuff yet. We all love this little girl so much and feel blessed to have her in our lives.

They loved the gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Orullian more Power Ranger stuff and more Iron man action figures so they were beyond excited. It was such a fun Christmas! We had dinner at my Grandma Orullian's house after we visited Tex's Brother Vaughn and his family and to end the night we went home and watched Ephraims Rescue with my family. Everything went so smoothly and I am grateful to have these memories sense I am sure that it wont happen again soon in the near future. Tex has been missing in action for the last few weeks studying for boards, he takes them January third and its a big deal. If we don't pass the first time we have to pay again to take them and its not cheap. After boards he has interviews in Texas January 8th and then back to Florida first of February for his final semester, match is March 19th and then YAY!! Graduation April 28th. This last year has been so full of wonderful times and really hard times, lots of growing experiences! I think among lots of other things I have learned that this life is full of choices, a choice to be happy, a choice to choose to follow the savior, to be kind the list goes on and on. My one big goal this New year is to choose to be happy no matter the hardship that I am going through. I am not saying its going to be easy or that I will do great at it all the time but I am going to try a lot harder to be happy and to make others happy. I am so grateful for my family for my wonderful husband and my children and so grateful for my parents and siblings. The Lord totally knew what he was doing creating the family unit. Now bring on the New Year!!
