Day to day!!

So We are in the middle of the Finals and we only have 5 more days and then a little freedom. Grandma and Aunt Breanna are coming to visit, while Tex and I go with some friends on a Cruise. We went to the park Yesterday and had such a good time! Peyton is getting so big, I am sure I have mentioned that he likes to do everything Tate's does but it get worse everyday. It was so cute when we were leaving the park yesterday Peyton would not get in the stroller and so I said K I am leaving and started to run, he thought he could keep up if he ran but was pretty far behind us so I stopped and said Peyton you need to get in please? He shook his head NO so I started off running again and said okay by see ya later, he again tried to keep up but was getting further and further behind and Tate started to freak. MOM!! MOM!! Stop don't leave without him! Straining hid neck from the stroller tell Peyton to hurry and looking back at me begging me to wait for Peyton. I told him Peyton wasn't listening so we had to leave him. He strained his neck again telling Peyton to listen to Mom, PLEASE MOM don't leave him!! Peyton realized by now that he was not going to make it and started crying in desperation so I stopped turned around picked him up, kissed him and said you need to listen to Mommy. When I say it is time to get in the stroller you need to say Okay Mom. He shook his head in Agreance and sat down next to his very concerned older Brother. Tate wrapped Peyton in his arms and gave him a really long hug and then turned to look at me and said Mom even if Peyton doesn't listen next time I don't want you to leave him because he is are really cute little bruver and I would miss him! I hope that they are always close! They will need each other in this increasingly wicked world. So I offered to help a lady in our ward give the lesson in Gospel Doctrines a few weeks ago for this Sunday, It was on how we are indebted to are Heavenly father and it was lots of fun to study just not so fun to give the lesson I am so glad it is over and hope I didn't do awful? Alright well I am going to got to bed now cause it is so super late and I am so tired.

Happy Birthday Tate!!

Well some of these pictures are out of order but yesterday was Tate's 4th Birthday! So crazy.  Tate is still super into Peter Pan right now so we had a treasure hunt and let the kids dress up like Pirates and little Ruby Simmons was Tinker Bell. I think the Adults had more fun then the kids but that is all good. We had some fun little treats in the treasure chest. Little pirate coloring books, fake star fish that were suppose to grow in water, candy of course and before we all left they had a treasure map that Tex made for all the little kids. That was Tate's Favorite part. He helped me make his cup cakes with green frosting and although it was a really long day it was fun and hope Tate had a good time? I love that little boy so much it is so hard for me to believe that only 4 years ago I gave birth to this little 5 pound baby and now he is 4 and such a little Man. The other day his Primary teacher called me and said that he said the prayer in his class and in his prayer he said something along the lines... " and Heavenly Father thank you for Mom that she will get up with me in the night and say a prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen." He is a good little boy, yes very full of energy and some times I let his fits get the better of me but he does want to be good and I hope I can continue to be close to him all through his life. I love you Tater Bug. :)

Easter :)

Easter 2012!! It was a fun Easter. Saturday morning me and two friends (Amy Simmons and Nicole Averett) Hid plastic eggs filled with little candies by my pool and the kids had a little egg hunt down stairs at the pool that they thought was very fun. Later that day the city of Sunny Isles put on another Easter egg hunt. It was fun but Hot! They blow up a million beach balls and gate off areas for each age group and the eggs are underneath all these beach balls, it is a chaotic mess but Tate loved it. Peyton just hung back from the craziness and  kicked the balls around. We took a Picture with the Easter Bunny, Peyton was not digging it to much that is why dad is in the picture with them. We were sad we didn't get to take pictures with the male bunny but we didn't have the write documents saying we lived in Sunny Isles, so O well!! After much needed naps we colored eggs with are friends the Andersens. We did it out side at the bar by are pool cause we new every one would be a hot mess, which they were. Peyton had a good time with the one egg I let him Dye, He thought the coloring was juice and he really wanted to drink. We got orange dye everywhere and then he mashed his egg up in his hand, I was really done after that and put him down to run around. Tate did good though, he likes to be creative like his dad so egg after egg into a different color they went and with his friend Kade they colored them the all. Fun Times Fun times!!! We should have had someone take a family Picture for us at church but we forgot so we did the best we could with Tex's long arm, that is why we are all scrunched into the photo.While the boys napped the Easter bunny hid all the hard boiled eggs and brought a little bag of candy in there baskets, it wasn't a lot but they thought it was cool so well done Easter Bunny. It was simple but lots of fun. So many good memories and good friends that we will miss. :)

Spider Man Boys!

O My goodness I love this picture of these sweet boys! The costume Peyton is wearing was Tate's and he wore it 2 Halloween's ago. Tate found this Spider Man costume in Red White and Blue yesterday when Britt Andersen and I were shopping  for old T - Shirts, It was 2 bucks so I got it for him washed it and this morning he wanted to put it on. Well of course who do you think wanted to wear one too?? So I found Tate's old one from the Holiday box and put it on Peyton( I am sure glad I didn't throw it out like I almost did twice.) Any way they went around spinning webs, Peyton was does everything Tate does, such a little shadow. They were wrestling last night right before we put them to bed it  has to be one of the high lights of the week, watching them wrestle like cub bears. Every day they are becoming such close friends and I love it. :)

Family Night!

Tonight for family night we did Annabell's accountable farm, With the dry pasture and the peaceful pasture.  We read what the cow says and Tate has to decide where the cow goes? Is it a good choice or a bad choice. He was answering all the questions so good and we were so proud of him and toward the end Tex made up a question (some of the questions don't really fit right now at his age) so Tex said " I was sitting in Sacrament meeting and was suppose to be thinking about Jesus but instead I was thinking about Peter Pan, is that a good choice or a bad choice? Tate really had know idea he looked at us and said a good choice? I mean a bad choice? Tex said who should you be thinking about in church during sacrament? Tate said "Peter Pan and Jesus?" We laughed a little and corrected him and he said o yeah yeah Jesus. It is so funny how there little minds work. Little moments like this make me and Tex smile and we feel so blessed to have such great not to mention cute kids.
Also last night when getting ready for bed Tate found his Bat Man watch and asked me to put it on him so I did and when I was finished Peyton held his wrist out and tried to say watch so I went looking for a watch and found and old one I have not put on in years and put it on him it fit perfect, I looked at him and smiled and said Yay you are just like Tate!!! He furled his brows and yanked on the watch to take it off and started crying saying Mat Man.. Mat Man... He wanted a Bat Man watch like his big brother it was so cute I can't remember what we said to distract him but it made us realize that Peyton is at that age now where he wants to do and have everything Tate does. I think it is so cute and I really really hope they become and stay very close friends, they will need each other. Like I always say Love my little Family!!
