Love the Medicine

Well you wouldn't be able to tell from the Picture with me and Gennie but i am Getting really sick the night that we went to see the the movie the Vow. It was such a fun night to hang with her we got ice cream from Tuttie Fruttie and then watched the movie she stayed at are place that night so when we got home Tex was still awake and we talked She is such a great girl. Love her to death! The only bummer was i couldn't talk, I had basically lost my voice and i couldn't breath and it just got worse from there. Yesterday and today are really the First days that i have felt good. Still blowing my nose so that it is pretty much Raw but its all coming out so that is a good thing. The Doctor saved me i finally decided after a few sleepless nights that i was going to go to the doctors so last Thursday Tex came home from school and  I left about noon and got to the doctors about one and didn't leave tell 4 so it was a long long long wait but he gave me a great Antibiotic and this Prescription for Allegra D It takes about 3 hours to work but it clears me up pretty good the best thing i have taken way better than Sudafed or anything like that. I was so grateful for it. Any way  I think we are all basically over the sickness and back to Health, But now Tex is heading into Finals witch means gone every night Tell one in the morning and then the next week 5 Tests and then he leaves out of town to a conference for 3 days so i really am going to be a single Mom. :((!! O well he is doing it for us and one day it will be so worth it. Also quick side note i have been taking this Anti anxious medication called Paroxotine or Paxil and it is really working i am so much happier I am being way nicer to the Boys and love to play with them i let things go a little easier and it feels amazing. Tex has even mentioned how he has seen a change like he is getting to know the real me, In some ways it does feel more like me and i love it. I feel really blessed to live in a day where medicine is in reach for this kind of thing and like when i was sick i started feeling better within a few days and i know back in the day they did not have that luxury. Tate got a new sword that if you ask him is just like Mulan's sword. That is his new movie of the Month. He can sing the " Lets get down to business to defeat the Huns" song and it is so cute love how he puts his sword in his underpants the sword is as big is he is. :) We had some friends over last night to celebrate are friend Jimmy Averett's Birthday and Peyton just dug right in!! Off to a good start to the new week i am going to miss Tex but we will have some fun Right Boys?? ......

Very Random

So pretty random yesterday around 5 Tate started complaining that his ear hurt, he seemed fine all day just a  little stuffy nose so i wasn't sure if it was something else or if it really did hurt cause it came on so suddenly. By 530 he was crying so hard and holding his ear. He kept saying my ear hurts.. It really hurts so I called the doctor and made an appt for him and as soon as Tex got home me and Tate left. By then he was clenching his fist and gritting his teeth together cause it hurt so bad. We signed in at the doctors and we were waiting to be called back he was crying loud and saying "He's not coming" ( the doctor) "why isn't he coming?" He finally said in his Tears " Mom I'm begging you please go back there where the doctor is " When we finally got into the room and the doctor came in he let the doctor do whatever he needed to do to make his ear feel better. It was so sad  all I could do is rub his back and hug him i felt so helpless. I wanted to make him feel better so bad. It made me realize how grateful i am to live in a day an age when they can help so quickly they gave him some fever reducer and an ear drop that did something amazing cause when we left he was not complaining anymore. I got his antibiotic and he feels so much better. The Three of us have just been hanging around the house watching movies and relaxing. I have enjoyed hanging with my boys. Today is Valentines and there was a little get together with some of the girls this morning but I didn't have a car so we missed it but me and the boys might walk to the store and get some chocolate and dip some strawberries . I hope we all get feeling better soon.

Tate

Tate said the funniest thing tonight when we were reading scriptures... We were reading the part where Christ in crucified for us and Tex said to Tate do you know why Jesus died for us? Because he loves us so we need to make good choices.. Be nice to Baby Peyton, share with our friends and listen to mom so when we die we can live with Heavenly Father again. Tate  said I need to be nice to Momma so I can Die?? Tex said O no no I meant so when you are older and go to Heaven and was about to finish his sentence when  Tate broke in and said, I am getting older! We decided that is was better/ easier just to tell him to make good choices and leave it at that. There little minds are so funny. So cute. Well little Peyton has a bad cold and I'm not sure how he will sleep so i better go to bed. Also quick side note... Whitney Houston Died today, I loved her music and i loved the movie The Body Gard she was only 48 really young. Just goes to show you that being Rich and Beautiful doesn't make you happy. The gospel if lived, will bring you true and long lasting Joy. :)

Wow I have not Written for a while. We have had so much fun with are friends back from internship. Koa and Tate get along so well and have so much fun playing together. We went swimming at Koa's pool both my boys love the water. Peyton is so good just floating in the water hangin while Tate and Koa dive and swim all around him. Leaving in Florida means crazy rain too and Rain it did. The other day it rained all day so the next day there were huge puddles every where, a parking lot next to the Averett's had a really big one so we put there suits on and let them run around in the rain water. Last night we Tex and  I went on a date with some friends and it was so fun. On are way out to drop the kids off at the church (the Young women are trying to raise money for camp that is coming up in March so they are doing a babysitting weekend parents can drop off there kids at the church and go on a date) any way on are way out Peyton was playing with this car/ train and wanted to bring it with us so we did. When we got home he pushed Tate up through the garage and all the way to are apartment i was laughing so hard it was so funny to see little Peyton pushing Tate they are such good friends most the time and they make me laugh. Are date was So fun we went with good friends to the Cheese Cake  Factory for dinner and then because it was in the Mall we walked around we looked in this store called Brookstone it had this massage chair it was so amazing it massaged like every part of my body and I wanted one so bad but it was 3000 dollars. Any way it was fun to be with good friends and be out with my husband and have a little break from day to day life. Now the Fun tonight is my night at the church with the Young Women and i think there will be a little over 20 kids from 6-10 at night and i have to bring my munchkins because Tex will be studying. He is going on a chartered Fishing Boat with Josh and Jimmy Averett. So today might be one of those really long days but that is okay I have had a few really fun night with my Tex. Thursday Night we were flipping through the channels and on the food network there was this thing on called Cupcake wars and 4 Women competed for 10,000 dollars they had judges and everything it was late when we finally went to bed but i had to see who won the cupcake war me and Tex just laughed we kept saying we didn't know cupcake making was so crazy. Either they are good or they are not but not according to these judges. :) I love the night when me and Tex just hang out and laugh like when we were dating just so care free. Don't get me wrong i would not change the way things are now with my boys but life was a lot simpler 6 years ago. Love Tex and my little Boys.
